Serving students in grades 6-8
Perspectives Middle Academy
PMA provides a personalized, blended learning model for students in grades 6-8 which includes both small-group, teacher-led instruction and customized software learning, allowing students to progress at their own pace. This combination of academic rigor, social emotional learning, and experiential opportunities establish a culture of trust, curiosity and achievement.
Our holistic model fosters ethical leadership and cultivates agency guiding students to lead productive and meaningful lives.
Middle schoolers learn how to cultivate positive self-perception, foster healthy relationships, and develop leadership mindsets. 8th graders also have the opportunity to jump start high school credit opportunities. This school is housed in the same campus as Perspectives Leadership Academy and High School of Technology.

NOTICE TO PARENTS/GUARDIANS OF CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES
Under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, the District must provide students with disabilities with appropriate special education and related services to address their educational needs. If your student receives related services from the District through their Individualized Education Program (“IEP”) document, such as occupational therapy, physical therapy, social work, nursing services, and speech and language therapy, you may request copies of related service logs developed and maintained by the District for your child. These related service logs include information regarding the type and duration of related services administered to your child.
If you have any questions regarding your child’s special education services, please contact Amy Gambrel firstname.lastname@example.org 312-604-2200.
