MSA prepares our students for success in college and in life by combining strong social emotional learning with a rigorous college preparatory curriculum and experiential learning opportunities that emphasize science, technology, engineering, art, and math. 

MSA offers cutting edge technology that allows students to gain certifications and excel in web design, computer coding, Adobe Photoshop™, robotics, AP Physics and relevant STEM courses. High-achieving students can also opt into an accelerated pathway to earn college credits through Dual Enrollment partnerships with the City Colleges of Chicago.

MSA partners with leading organizations like Horizon Pharma to give students opportunities to build relationships with mentors in STEM industries. Students begin college visits in middle school and all students receive targeted college counseling support.

Rodney D. Joslin Campus

Our Joslin campus provides a holistic approach to education, combining relevant and rigorous college preparatory curriculum with strong social emotional learning and experiential opportunities to prepare our students for college and for life. 

Joslin utilizes the city and region as a classroom to provide our students with real world learning opportunities. Joslin’s vibrant, small-school learning environment allows students to build on their educational experience through internships and electives like art, fitness, humanities, and STEM courses as well as an accelerated pathway for high-achieving students. 

Students begin to visit college campuses as early as 6th grade, and Dual Enrollment is offered in partnership with City Colleges. Home of NBA All-Star, Anthony Davis, Joslin provides the foundation for developing ethical leaders prepared for the 21st century.

Perspectives High School of Technology & Leadership Academy

Perspectives High School of Technology (TECH) integrates the use of technology throughout our rigorous and relevant college preparatory curriculum. Through social-emotional learning, and experiential opportunities, we provide students with a competitive advantage in college and beyond. 

Perspectives Leadership Academy (PLA) provides effective programs that develop our students into leaders of positive social change. PLA partners with professionals like EY to provide mentorship opportunities and the implementation of a strategic plan that infuses leadership development into all facets of the school.

Students at each campus have the opportunity to enhance their educational experience by providing AP classes, an accelerated pathway for high-achieving students, and Dual Enrollment in partnership with City Colleges. PLA and TECH will be moving Fall 2019 to a new state-of the-art campus on 85th and Dan Ryan.

Perspectives Middle Academy

Grades 6-8

This campus provides a personalized, blended learning model for students in grades 6-8 which includes both small-group, teacher-led instruction and customized software learning, allowing students to progress at their own pace. This combination of academic rigor, social emotional learning, and experiential opportunities establish a culture of trust, curiosity and achievement.

Our holistic model fosters ethical leadership and cultivates agency guiding students to lead productive and meaningful lives.  

Middle schoolers learn how to cultivate positive self-perception, foster healthy relationships, and develop leadership mindsets. 8th graders also have the opportunity to jump start high school credit opportunities. This school is housed in the same campus as Perspectives Leadership Academy and High School of Technology. PMA will be moving Fall 2019 to a new state-of the-art campus on 85th and Dan Ryan.
